About the customer

The customer is a global supplier of paper-based packaging solutions for liquid products.

Project scope ​

The company’s core systems were from the 1990s and did not fulfill all the requirements for a supply chain which is fully traceable, efficient, and ensures transparency between customers, market units, and plants. They were fragmented, with duplication of functionality and information across multiple applications. A project was therefore started to modernize the supply chain process and core IT systems. ​

Akselera’s role, deliverables and results ​

Akselera was engaged to guide the selection process, providing a tried-and-tested approach and relevant templates, as well as subject matter expertise in supply chain, manufacturing, and finance. We advised on the selection of potential software suppliers, the short-listing of suppliers, and final proof-of concept sessions. Finally, we helped the customer during the contract development and negotiation phases. ​
