Project management SAP S/4 HANA implementation
The customer is a Norwegian regional health enterprise (RHE) with overall responsibility for the provision of specialist health services to the inhabitants in that region.
Customer need/ Project scope
The RHE launched a change program to enable the standardization of processes and master data management for inventory, procurement, budgeting, accounting, and assets across legal entities. The program includes implementation of SAP S/4 HANA as a catalyst to achieve the desired changes.
Brief description of Akselera’s role, deliverables and results
The change program’s SAP S/4HANA implementation consists of four separate delivery projects: System, Master Data, Technical, and Integration. Akselera’s task is to provide project management services for the System and Master Data projects.
Akselera’s project managers have led interdisciplinary teams covering the following functions/disciplines: accounting/finance, procurement, warehouse/logistics, health sciences, and technology. To facilitate the transition to SAP and standardized processes, they have been directly involved in change management activities. To ensure optimal quality and cost control of the SAP S/4HANA implementation, the project managers have been given significant responsibility for ensuring adherence to the agreed utilization of tools and methodology, and have contributed significantly to the change program’s focus on quality and contract audits.
