Altia is a leading wine and spirits company offering quality brands in the Nordic and Baltic countries. The company produces, markets, sells, imports and exports alcoholic beverages in its market area. Altia´s net sales were € 475.8 million and it engages 1074 employees (2013)​

Customer need/ Project scope ​

Altia’s Treasury function searched for new tools for effective and competitive working capital management. The project scope was to implement a SOR (sale of receivables) in SAP.

Brief description of Akselera’s role, deliverables and results ​

Akselera was responsible for the design and realization of Altia’s SOR solution from the content, process, and SAP points of view. In addition, we made a solution rollout for abroad taking care of local requirements. As a result of the SOR initiative, Altia´s receivables management efficiency and quality can be improved. Akselera’s tested project approach, system solution, and committed experts enabled the SOR implementation success within the original timeline (approx. two months) and budget. With Akselera’s state-of-the-art SOR approach for SAP, Altia has ensured optimal receivables management processes and technical functionalities both locally in Finland and in foreign subsidiaries.
